During the week of May 12-16, CNSF will led a congressional social media campaign to highlight specific examples of the value of the National Science Foundation (NSF), acknowledge the success of the past 75 years, and emphasize the critical importance of sustained funding to reach 75 more years.

Advocacy Outreach on Capitol Hill
CNSF members met with over 75 offices on Capitol Hill for NSF’s 75th Anniversary. Innovative NSF-funded researchers across the country shared the importance of NSF funding with their representatives. CNSF requested at least $9.9 billion for NSF in FY 2026, which would get NSF back to its FY 2023 total funding.

NSF Funded Research Showcase
As NSF celebrated its 75th anniversary, CNSF showcased transformative NSF-funded research from across the country. Participants had the opportunity to engage with innovators and learn how their work positively impacts communities and drives U.S. innovation forward.
